His coach tells us that the team was on its way home from a baseball tournament in Panama City, Florida. However, shortly after 3 a.m., Williams, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle, rolling three times before landing in a ditch. When deputies arrived, they informed us that one was possibly pinned. When troopers arrived, we discovered that one of the occupants, the driver, had died. Inside a 15-passenger van that rolled off the road, there were four other occupants besides the driver, Foster said.
