Today, we are going to talk about one of the most prominent personalities. Yes, John Mueller has passed away and this news is true. A famous barbecue maverick and a descendant of one of Texas’ most outstanding barbecue families, John Mueller, has died.
He died this week at his residence in Frisco at the age of 52 years. Mueller’s death was informed on 16th December and the news was verified via a Facebook post by Panther City BBQ. He expressed grief over John’s demise and offered their condolences to his family.
What Was John Mueller Cause of Death?
John Mueller built a profession on his own and became a famous barbecue pitmaster. He became a well-known celebrity after taking over the renowned Louis Muller Barbecue in 1993. Early in his career, John began creating the indoor pit at his grandfather’s bistro, Louis Muller Barbecue. The restaurant, established in Taylor, Texas, was extended in 1949.
It was closed in 2006 due to financial difficulties but yielded to business in 2011. John Mueller has never disclosed much about his private life. Apart from this, information from different authorities noted that he was married and divorced his wife in 1999.
He then started dating a fellow team member, whom he later eloped with. This caused a rift in his relationship with his father, and John sold a part of the business to his family and left. He then made his solo debut in 2001 with John Mueller’s B-B-Q, which was closed in five years due to financial struggles.
How Did John Mueller Die?
Mueller and his sister LeAnn opened a little trailer called JMueller BBQ in South Austin. LeAnn filed a police report in 2012 charging her brother for robbing money. John was terminated from the enterprise and the trailer was renamed la Barbecue.
John established a restaurant called John Mueller Meat Company in East Austin in 2013, which was subsequently confiscated by the state comptroller for non-payment of taxes. In 2017, the departed BBQ maverick extended another restaurant called Black Box in downtown Georgetown and was called by Texas Monthly as the state’s Top New Barbecue joints.
Its quick permit parted and, although the restaurant migrated to Pflugerville, it was not so successful. John Mueller yet can’t admit his failure and returns in 2019 with his new restaurant, Barbecue by John Mueller. Our deepest condolences to his family members and friends who go through a very tough time.
