The second in command who was the third leader to leave the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium after the Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye and President Uhuru Kenyatta got shocked as thousands of Kondele residents gathered on the road to show their love for him.
The mega crowd was so huge that DP Ruto’s convoy couldn’t pass forcing the DP to stand and waved to the thousands of Kondele residents expressing his heartfelt appreciation.
The crowd broke into jubilation upon seeing his face and the Deputy President returned the favor with a warm smile before proceeding with his journey.
President Uhuru during the Madaraka celebrations promised work with the former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga in the future regardless of what it takes.
