Things Are Going South: Ellen DeGeneres Set To Suspend Production Amid Coronavirus Fears

The Ellen DeGeneres Show has suspended production until the end of March due to the ongoing coronavirus threat.

Host Ellen DeGeneres announced the news via her Twitter page on Friday night.

β€œHey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy. I love you guys, and can’t wait to come back. I’m already bored.” (SHE TWEETED)

News of the suspension comes a day after she announced they would follow in the steps of other popular shows by scrapping her live audience because of the deadly coronavirus.Β
