“The Airport Is Closed For Two More Weeks”-FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika has announced the closure of the Airport for two more weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He explains that the Federal Government has taken a unanimous decision to lock Nigeria’s Airspace and airports to avoid the further spread of the coronavirus.

In His Words:

COVID-19. As a result of the extension on lock-down by Mr President, it is no longer possible for us to open our airspace and airports for normal operations by the 23rd April 2020. β€œThey will remain closed for a further 2 weeks. This subject to review as appropriate.”
