Suspected child serial killer Masten Wanjala escapes from police custody

Masten Millimo Wanjala, the self-confessed serial killer behind the murder of more than 10 minors, has escaped from police custody.

According to Authorities, the suspect was expected at the Makadara law courts for a mention of some of his probe cases where the incident happened.

He is said to have escaped unknown time on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Wanjala, 20, is accused of killing at least ten children between 2019 and 2021.

He has so far taken police to ateast 10 murder scenes, including Nairobi (5), Kajiado (2), Machakos (2) and Bungoma (1).

Wanjala was arrested in mid-July, 2021 by Directorate of Criminal Investigation detectives
