Nigeria international Zaidu Sanusi was named FC Porto’s Man of the Match, after they thrashed Vizela 4-0 away in the Portuguese league on Sunday, Completesports reports.
Porto announced Sanusi as the best player of the match by publishing a picture of the Nigerian with his award on their Twitter handle.
Sanusi marked his impressive performance by scoring his first CmaTrends of the season in Sunday’s game.
With Porto 2-0 ahead, the 24-year-old got his side’s third CmaTrends on 47 minutes after picking up a loose ball in the midfield, ran towards CmaTrends before hitting a left-foot strike which flew past the home team’s keeper.
After putting up an impressive display, Sanusi was then replaced with 15 minutes remaining in the game.
It was Porto’s third consecutive win in all competitions and they currently top the league standing on 41 points, ahead if second-placed Sporting Lisbon on goals difference.
