Amazon Prime Video announced that Sophie Okonedo and Tobias Menzies have joined the cast of “Modern Love” Season 2, which will premiere Aug. 13.
Okonedo and Menzies appear in an episode of the romantic anthology directed by showrunner and executive producer John Carney.
Previously announced cast members for Season 2 include Gbenga Akinnagbe, Susan Blackwell, Lucy Boynton, Tom Burke, Zoe Chao, Maria Dizzia, Minnie Driver, Grace Edwards, Dominique Fishback, Kathryn Gallagher, Kit Harington, Garrett Hedlund, Telci Huynh, Nikki M. James, Aparna Nancherla, Larry Owens, Zane Pais, Anna Paquin, Isaac Powell, Ben Rappaport, Milan Ray, Jack Reynor, Miranda Richardson, Marquis Rodriguez, James Scully, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Lulu Wilson, Don Wycherley and Jeena Yi.
John Crowley, Marta Cunningham, Jesse Peretz and Andrew Rannells will also direct episodes of the anthology series, with Celine Held and Logan George co-directing an episode. Todd Hoffman, Trish Hofmann, and Anthony Bregman also serve as executive producers on Season 2, along with Choire Sicha and Caitlin Roper of The New York Times. Sean Fogel and Miriam Mintz produce, and Daniel Jones, editor of the “Modern Love” column on which the show is based, co-produces. The series is produced by Amazon Studios, Storied Media Group, Likely Story and The New York Times.

Apple TV Plus announced “The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward,” a town hall conversation hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry will stream on May 28. This town hall is a followup to the docuseries thataims to destigmatize issues related to mental health. The town hall will include series participants Glenn Close, Zak Williams and Ambar Martinez, along with all members of “The Me You Can’t See” advisory board. “The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward” is produced by Harpo Productions and executive produced by Terry Wood and Tara Montgomery.
Netflix announced that Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela are the newest luxury real estate agents to join The Oppenheim Group and the cast of “Selling Sunset” for Seasons 4 and 5. Hernan, a self-made multi-millionaire, is an entrepreneur, angel investor and CEO of Emma-Leigh & Co, while Villela is an award-winning Mexican American actor who recently transitioned to real estate.
Sofia Vergara, Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers will appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” while Emily Blunt, Diego Boneta and “American Idol” winner Chayce Beckham will be on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will have on Will Arnett and Brockhampton, and John Krasinski, Donny Deutsch and Dodie will be on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” Jonas Brothers and Leif Vollebekk will appear on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” and Andrew Rannells will be on “A Little Late With Lilly Singh.”
