The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries has told its members that even as the state government lifted the ban on religious gatherings, the church has yet to resume physical meetings.
The chairman of the MFM Media Committee, Pastor Oladele Bank-Olemoh, who revealed this, said from now on that services will be broadcast live on television as the appropriate notice would be given before the services resume.
According to him, the decision was made due to the ongoing provision of adequate steps and installation of facilities to ensure an effective reopening according to state government guidelines.
Olemoh said the general overseer of the ministry, Dr Daniel Olukoya, considered the safety implications of reopening the church for service, which is why the decision was made.
He said;
“Dr Odukoya, the General Overseer, considered the safety effect of reopening the service in view of the crowded nature of its services, prayer and deliverance; vibrancy and peculiarity of its worship modes.”
