San Diego Comic-Con 2021 TV Schedule

While San Diego Comic-Con announced that they will return in-person with a “special gathering” on Thanksgiving weekend, the main summer convention will take place online for the second year in a row due to health and safety precautions connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, studios are still planning on creating an enjoyable virtual experience for fans while teasing what’s to come in future seasons of their hit television series. For your convenience, Variety has compiled a master list of all the details pertaining the pop culture convention set for July 23-25. Attendees will be able to watch all of the panels for free.

As of press time, some of the below panels don’t yet have scheduled dates and times to be posted online, so check back here, as we will update this post with that information, as well as more panels, as they get announced.

Duncanville (July 23 at 3 p.m.) — Executive producers Mike Scully and Julie Thacker-Scully; executive producer and star Amy Poehler; and stars Ty Burrell, Riki Lindhome, Joy Osmanski, Yassir Lester and Betsy Sodaro will tease what’s to come in the rest of the second season, airing on Fox, including a special look at an upcoming episode featuring a musical number with everyone’s favorite teacher, Mr. Mitch (voiced by Wiz Khalifa).

The Simpsons (July 24 at 11 a.m.) — Moderated by Yeardley Smith, the crew behind the long-running animated Fox sitcom will answer fan’s questions, tell behind-the-scenes stories and reveal the secrets of season 33 and beyond. Writers Matt Selman and Carolyn Omine; animators David Silverman, Al Jean and Debbie Mahan; and director Mike B. Anderson will appear.

Central Park (July 24 at 3 p.m.) — Co-creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard; co-creator, executive producer and voice actor Josh Gad; voice actors Leslie Odom Jr. and Titus Burgess; and producers Kelvin Yu and Steven Davis will discuss how they brought the harmonious animated series to life for Apple TV Plus.

Family Guy (July 24 at 4 p.m.) — In celebration of 20 seasons, voice actor and executive producer Seth MacFarlane; voice actors Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, Seth Green and Arif Zahir; and executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin will compete in a virtual trivia night to see who knows most about the hit animated series. They will also unveil a sneak peek of the upcoming 20th season, which premieres this fall on Fox.

American Dad (July 24 at 5 p.m.) — Co-creator Matt Weitzman will walk fans through the creation of an upcoming episode that will air on TBS later this year. The panel will feature a table read with voice actors Rachael MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes and Dee Bradley Baker, followed by parts of the episode in the animatic and early stages of color.

The Mysterious Benedict Society (July 25 at 11 a.m.) — The stars of the Disney Plus series — Tony Hale, Kristen Schaal, MaameYaa Baofo, Ryan Hurst and Gia Sandhu — will join co-creators Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi as well as showrunners Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin to discuss various adventures from the first season and tease the future of the series.

The Great North (July 25 at 12 p.m.) — Executive producer Loren Bouchard and co-creators Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux will join cast members Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Dulcé Sloan, Will Forte, Paul Rust and Alanis Morissette for a Q&A, which will include exclusive clips and breaking news on the outrageous Alaskan adventures in store for the Tobin family in the upcoming season on Fox.

Bob’s Burgers (July 25 at 3 p.m.) — Executive producers Nora Smith and creator Loren Bouchard will join cast members H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz and Larry Murphy to share breaking news about the upcoming season on Fox, never-before-seen footage and answer the questions of a few lucky fans.
