Firstly, he appeared in The Slab Boys, a set of three plays by John Bayrne. Due to his amazing comic skills, he bagged a role in the 1982 series titled “The Comic Strip Presents”. After gracing some plays and comic series, the actor finally moved to the films.

Some of his films include 1980 released Flash Gordon and Death Watch, along with Gateway to the South, Scrubbers, The Supergrass, Absolute beginners and many more. He appeared in various television series as well and garnered a decent fan following in some time as well. Robbie got roles in bigger films too such as GoldenEye, the James Bond film, along with J.K.
