The outspoken Muranga Senator Irungu Kang’ata and his Nakuru counterpart Susan Kihika have revealed why Deputy President William Ruto decided to use the Church in preparation for his ambition to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The two Tangatanga leaders allied to the Second in Command have confirmed that DP Ruto will be receiving Godly blessings from the Church to spearhead his presidential bid.

Muranga Senator revealed that DP Ruto will be using the church as a competition against his opponents who he claimed are opposing the church.

Kang’ata further stated that as the Mount Kenya region it shall be noticed that all the voters are a God-fearing people and that they won’t allow the tradition to overturn Christianity.

“We are competing against opponents who oppose the church and do not have any known mainstream faith. Since Mt Kenya is home to God-fearing voters, we will have to do things differently and avoid competing on the platform of darkness, dedicating our candidate to God,” Irungu Kang’ata has stated.

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has also informed that as the leaders from the Mt. Kenya region they have decided the best path of endorsing DP Ruto as their flag bearer is to stick to the church making it clear that they don’t will go Traditional way where Elders claims to lead the coronation.

“They have picked their kingpins from the bushes and we will pick ours from the altar of God,” Nakuru senator Susan Kihika informed.
