Nigerian actress, Maryam Booth, loses Mother, Zainab Booth

Maryam Booth, Nigerian actress, has lost her Mother and veteran kannywood actress, Zainab Booth.

Zainab Booth, also a veteran actress, died on Thursday after a brief illness.

Zainab Booth was popular for her motherly roles she plays in the Hausa movie industry.

Actor, Ali Nuhu, taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, disclosed that the veteran actress will be buried on Friday in Kano.

He wrote “With the deepest heart, I announced the demised of Hajiya Zainab Booth. The Jana’iza prayers will hold on Friday at her residence, opposite Premiere Hospital in the morning.”

Maryam Booth, also confirmed the news of her mother’s death in an Instagram post.

Maryam Booth is a Nigerian actress. She became popular for her role in ‘The Milkmaid’, Nigeria’s representative for the best international feature category at the Academy Awards.

Also, Maryam won the Best Actress in the supporting Role at the 2020 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
