Once again, singer Nadia Mukami has proven that she has nothing against Otile Brown following their famous fallout early this year.
Nadia proved that she is currently on good terms with Otile after she chose her as her best male musician in East Africa ahead of rapper Khalighraph and other great musicians from the region.
She chose the R&B singer ahead of other East African male artists including Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Ali Kiba, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo, Rwanda’s Meddy and The Ben, and Ethiopia’s Gildo Kassa.
Nadia’s vote for Otile comes months after the Coast-based singer threw her under the bus following criticism over their song, Kolo.
In May, Otile took to his Instagram page to respond to a critic of their song, Kolo which the fan claimed was below standards.
In the response, Otile blamed Nadia for the song’s poor quality. He noted that he was not fully involved in the song’s production from the onset. According to him, Nadia denied him the chance to write the song.
Otile further stated that he does not want to be involved in the song but he did it out of respect of his producer.
“Huo wimbo sio wangu jamani… alikataa niandike akasema ‘I want a hit song not a good song’ weeh!!! Nikaeka verse yangu nikaondoka. Nilifanya kwa heshima ya Vicky pon dis tu!” Otile Brown said.
“Wimbo ambao nina husika utajua tu! Y’all be trolling me ever since it came out… plz y’all understand and let it slide. It’s messing up my peace… nilijifunza kama siupendi sikai, respectfully and with love, nothing personal,” he added.
A month after the incident, Otile went and apologized to Nadia after they met at an event in Nairobi. Otile noted that his comments on the song were negative and were triggered by a bad day he had.

Following the apology, it seems the two artists have now gone back to being on good terms and Nadia is now rooting for Otile to be voted the best male music artist in East Africa.
