Former Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has given the stongest hit of picking a running mate in his quest for the country’s top seat.

Speaking on Tuesday, Mudavadi termed the region as a heavy politically muscle having produced three head of state.

“There is alot of experience in the region. They are people who love Business and contribute alot to the economy of the nation. So i’m saying no, there is a possibilty,”

Mudavadi claimed that the region may not field a candidate in the race for succeding President Uhuru Kenyatta, adding that leaders from the region are currently listening to propasals brought on the table from other presidential aspirants.

He, however, stated the One Kenya Alliance has not settled on the presidential candidate, saying that negotiation are still ongoing.

He further called on Kenyans to look at the agenda and policies fronted by all aspirants in the next general election instead of electing people based on their popularity.

Since June this year, the ANC leader has pitched camp in Central Kenya. He is expected to visit Meru County  next in his Mount Kenya region tour to sell his agenda.
