Meru gubernatorial aspirant and Ex-KDF officer Mwenda Mbijiwe missing

Former Meru County Gubernatorial aspirant and security consultant Mwenda Mbijiwe has been reported missing.

Speaking earlier today, his sister Tamara Mbijiwe noted that they had reported him under missing person at the Central police station in Nairobi.

Tamara further stated that they last heard from the former Kenya air force soldier nearly a week ago on Saturday June 12, 2021, when they believed he was travelling to Meru.

“We filed the report two days ago and I am heading to Central Police Station to follow up on the matter,” Tamara affirmed.

Through a post on her Facebook page, Tamara wrote that the brother reached out to one of the family members and disclosed his whereabouts.

She further asked anyone with any information about him to report to the nearest police station while calling for prayers for him and the family.

“Ever since all his phones went off, the car he was using is yet to be found. In case of any information about his whereabouts kindly get in touch or report to the nearest police station.

‘Kindly remember him and the family in prayers,” Tamara urged.
