Kano State Govt. Prosecutes 30 FootBallers In Kano For Lockdown Violation

On the 16th of April, 2020, the Kano State Government declared a total lockdown, however, many residents in Kano believed the lockdown was an irrational act by the state government. Many residents also believe there is nothing like coronavirus. In a viral video reported by CT, a Hausa drinks water he washed his hands in just to mock and prove that there is nothing like the coronavirus (read here).

On Monday, the 20th of April, 30 footballers were arrested in Kano for violating the one-week lockdown declared by the state government.

According to reports, the footballers participated in the Dala Local Government football march. The State Police Command spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna confirmed this report.
