Inathi Mhlahlo, a six-year – old girl, was raped and killed by unknown individuals in Zone 8 of Mdantsane, East London, South Africa.
On Monday, October 26, it was gathered that the little girl went to the store to buy crisps and some candy, something she had done several times before. She did not come back, however.
Five hours later, in the bushes, her half-naked body was discovered by her neighbors, who had embarked on a desperate search.
She was stabbed near the neck and dumped not far from her home with her family. She was without her pants, underwear, and shoes.
Thandiwe, her heartbroken mother, has now revealed how her little girl dreamed of being a model when she was older, or a doctor. She said her daughter had asked her to surprise her in her final conversation with a gift.
“I don’t have any answers. The life of my little girl was painfully cut short. Our last chat. I should have delighted her with a gift. It hurts’ on Wednesday, October 28, Thandiwe told DispatchLive.
“She called me Chommie when she needed something from me, not Mommie.”
