Former World Champ’ Boxer, Floyd Mayweather Reportedly Pays For George Floyd’s Funeral

Five-division former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather promised to cover the expense of George Floyd’s funeral, an African-American man who was killed while in police custody in Minneapolis last week.

Mayweather Promotions confirmed on Twitter that the former boxer would cover all funeral costs. As stated in the exclusive Hollywood Unlocked report, Mayweather has made a commitment to pay for three funeral services in Houston, George’s hometown, Minnesota and Charlotte, and a potential fourth location that he has also offered to pay for.

Several media outlets say that Floyd ‘s family accepted Mayweather’s proposal, while the likes of TMZ Sports published a photo of the $88,500 USD check written at the Fort Bend Memorial funeral home.

In related news, Drake contributed US$ 100,000 to the National Bail Out Fund.

Undisputed champion @floydmayweather told @HollywoodUL in an exclusive interview, that he will commit to paying for the funeral costs of George Floyd.
