Forensics Institute Inducts Buhari’s Daughter, Others




The First Vice President, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Dr. James Neminebor; a daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Fatima Muhammadu Buhari; and Maj-Gen. Sansadeen Awosanya (Retd.), were among the first set of 25 inductees into the elite direct membership of Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN) held on Wednesday in Abuja.


The direct induction newly introduced by the Institute is targeted at highly experienced and senior executives in public service and private sector that already have the residual knowledge and the minimum basic requirements in terms of experience and exposure.

Performing the induction at ANAN House, Abuja, the President/Chairman of Council of the Institute, Dr. Iliyasu Gashinbaki, said that the direct membership was borne out of the idea to prepare experienced executives, retrain them and upscale their skills so that they truly become proper professional forensic accountants and fraud examiners.

Calling on other professionals to take advantage of the direct membership, he said the window which is still open but would soon close.

He said, “I admonished the inductees to go and practice and adhere to our professional code of ethics, practice with integrity and provide service efficiently for their clients for those that are in practice. Now those that are in public service we are very confident that they will also go and make impact in their various areas of work.”

Also inducted at the ceremony were Accountant General of Kwara State, Dr. Ismail Waheed; Accountant General of Katsina State, AlhajiAnasAbdukadir; Air Commodore Dangaji Zakari Lawan, Col. Adamu Ibrahim Isah and Cletus Okechukwu Odoh.

Others include Henry Osita, Babajide Agboluga, Sunday Ojelabi, Commodore Samuel Ngatuwa, Lt. Odeh Adokwu, and Alhaji Sa’ad Wuro Cheke among others.
