The end of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) seems to be looming after two principals have been alleged to have finally agreed to back Raila’s bid for Presidency.

According to a publication by the local dailies, it has established that at least two principals have thrown in the towel, spelling the death of the outfit even before it’s launch.

Kenya Africa National Union (KANU) Gideon Moi, according to the insiders, has said he wouldn’t mind working with Raila Odinga and supporting his Presidential bid in the run-up to next year’s polls.

Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka is also said to have succumbed to the pressure but fears a backlash among his allies who have threatened to abandoned him if he backs ODM boss Raila Odinga.

The threats triggered speculations that the two leaders could be plotting a reunion to face Deputy President William Ruto on a joint ticket.

On the other hand, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi who has been making tours across the country to drum up support for his bid to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta has insisted that he will be on the ballot in August next year.

He has in a number of times insisted that he has played second fiddle to others and the time is ripe for them to support to him.

OKA partners belonged to the defunct National Super Alliance Coalition that had ODM leader Raila Odinga as their Presidential candidate in the 2017 general elections.

It is also reported that President Uhuru Kenyatta is Keen on seeing the OKA principals working closely with Raila Odinga so as to share up numbers and increase their chances of victory in 2022.

Kenyatta is reported to have a soft spot for Odinga’s candidature.
