Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, said a total of 28 people have been quarantined in Ogun State so far.
CMATRENDS discovered that those who had been quarantined were those who had contact with the Italian, the first person who checked the coronavirus positively.
Gov Abiodun said the state government was leaving no stone unturned at a press conference on Friday, as items required for health workers had been procured so they could arrest the situation immediately.
According to him, the state is also tracking those who might have had contact with the Italian to isolate them, adding that “a contact-tracing exercise is underway.” Abiodun further claimed that the company where the Italian visited was shut down, saying that two isolation centers had been established at the company.
