CONVID-19: Lagos Government Seals Event Center After Hosting ‘Owanbe’

An event center in Lagos, Ikeja has been sealed by the State Government after going contrary to the directives of the Lagos State Government as part ofΒ coronavirus measures.

The owambe party at Regency and Imperial halls was disrupted yesterday and the venue closed at the Ikeja Central Business District.

This is coming after social and religious gatherings were ban to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The police in Lagos have commenced a massive crackdown on social, religious and other gatherings above 50 people in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus in the state and Nigeria at large.
