Buhari Nearly ‘Attacked’ By A Man In Kebbi State During The Argungu Festival (Video)

Amidst the wide spread of the deadly coronavirus, a man was seen rushing towards President Muhammadu Buhari during the Argungu Festival in Kebbi State.

On Thursday March 12, Buhari was posing for a photo at the festival before he was almost attacked. The man was quickly restrained by the Security operatives and other armed policemen.

The President was in Kebbi State to declare open the Argungu Fishing and Cultural Festival.

It was the first time the international tourism event would hold in eleven years, as security considerations had rendered it impracticable.

The special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, said the young man motive is not to attack the president but to shake hands.

The video of the incident which is going viral is beginning to get different reactions from social media users.
