BET Awards 2021: Wizkid and Burna Boy nominated. See all nominees here

The nominations for the 2021 edition of the BET Awards have finally been announced.

Grammy Award winning superstars, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been nominated in the Best International Act category.

The duo will be going against Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Ayanakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One, Young T and Bugsey (UK), and Youssoupha (France).

In 2012, Wizkid was nominated for the same award which he ended up winning, however in 2015 he famously refused to attend the awards. He blamed his absence on the fact that the award organizers planned to hand him the award backstage instead of on the main stage.

Burna Boy also has won the award twice, in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
