Season 1 (2006) – Katung Aduwak
The first season of Big Brother Naija aired in 2006, and it was known at the time as Big Brother Nigeria. 26- years- old Katung Aduwak won the first season of the show with a $100,000 grand prize. He has subsequently branched out into digital journalism and storytelling, which he uses to promote human rights and equality. He also directed and produced two films, “Unwanted Guest” and “Heaven’s Hell.”
Aduwak still has fans and supporters, as well as a strong social media presence, although it is worth noting that he isn’t the most successful housemate after the programme Ebuka Obi Uchendu, the host of Big Brother Naija and brand ambassador to many notable brands such as H20, appears to be the most notable housemate remaining in the show business from the 2006 set. He is followed by Gideon Okeke, the award-winning Nollywood actor.
Season 2 (2017) – Michael Efe Ejeba
Big Brother Nigeria’s first season aired over a decade ago, and the show was renamed Big Brother Naija. Teddy A and Bambam married after the show and have a daughter together. The 2017 edition produced a fairly more significant number of enduring celebrities and this sparked a larger interest in the programme.
