“Ban On Domestic And International Flights Has Not Been Lifted”- NCAA

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority NCAA says that domestic and international flights remain suspended in the country, CmaTrends report.

As part of steps to curb the spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria the flights were suspended.

Remember that the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on June 1, advised the aviation authorities to come up with new guidelines for domestic flight operations on or before June 21. It had been taken by many Nigerians to mean that domestic flights will resume operation on 21 June. Nevertheless, the task force came out later to clarify that the date of June 21 was for new guidelines to be applied and not for domestic flights to be resumed.

However, a statement released on Saturday, June 20, by the NCAA states that for now domestic and international flights are still suspended. Approval is provided only to necessary flights.
