Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria Dies In Bed

Mr Adnan Bostaji, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Nigeria, is dead.

The Saudi Arabia Embassy in Nigeria, which confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday, said the ambassador had died as he slept.

“With the deepest sense of sadness and complete submission to Allah’s Will, the Royal Embassy announces the passing away of His Excellency Mr. Adnan Mahmoud Bostaji, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria,” the mission said.

It said his body was taken to the Turkish Abuja hospital where doctors believed he was dead.

Bostaji received his baccalaureate in social sciences from the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah in 1985.

He also received a higher diploma in diplomatic studies from the Riyadh Institute of Diplomatic Studies in 1988.
