Paris Saint-Germain struck a big blow on the transfer market by securing the services of Lionel Messi this summer. For many, the arrival of the Argentine is what will finally allow the Parisians to win the Champions League. According to a poll by Ipsos, 70% of French people questioned, and even 76% in Paris, think that PSG has a good chance of winning the competition this season.

61% of those polled also believe that the Pulga will score at least 15 or 20 goals this season, a percentage that rises to 75% for the under-35s. This poll was also an opportunity to take stock of the number of people who watch Ligue 1. Ipsos reveals that 44% of people questioned say they follow the French championship, even occasionally. In the Paris region, it even goes up to 65% for men.
