Sad!! Coronavirus Claims The Life Of Ghanaian Footballer In Italy

A Ghanaian amateur footballer, Emmanuel Harrison died of coronavirus in Italy after having been infected with the disease.

Italian news website, Oglio Po, announced that the 49-year-old died 10 days after being admitted to Oglio Po Hospital in Vicomoscano, a town in the northern Italian province of Lombardia.

Harrison, who played with several amateur clubs, including Maffei, where he led the attack, caught the disease from a computer he shared with another employee at the nearby EmiliaNa Parati plant, where he also operated.

Added to the report;

Emmanuel worked at the Emiliana Parati in Vicomoscano and had made himself well-liked by everyone, colleagues in the factory, and dressing room companions.

β€œHis physique, as well as his undoubted skills of a striker, helped him.”

Previous to his passing, he had planned to relocate to England, where his wife and three children were staying. It was allegedly limited by paperwork.

Harrison is currently the third Ghanaian in Italy, and the fourth Ghanaian abroad to be infected by Coronavirus.
