Daughter of Dwayne Johnson, Simone Johnson, Signs With WWE To Become A Wrestler

Simone Johnson, Dwayne’s 18-year-old daughter “The Rock” Johnson plans to follow in the wrestling footsteps of her father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

On Monday, the WWE Network revealed that Simone had signed with WWE and would start training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Soon after WWE, she responded to the announcement on Instagram, writing, “To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling and said,’ This will be my life one day,’ this is for you. I’m humbled, thankful and ready to work. Let’s get this done.’

Also Simone Johnson told WWE: “To me it means the world. Knowing that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I’m grateful to have the opportunity, not just to wrestle but to carry on with that legacy.” “Simone knows she has a lot to learn, “said WWE head trainer Matt Bloom. “She’s hungry to learn and also to tap the brains of the coaches and the seasoned Superstars. She won’t recline on her laurels. It was a short time, but she was pounding it out.

Her father, Johnson Dwayne “The Rock,” is the first wrestler of the third generation in the history of the WWE. He was an eight-time WWE heavyweight champion and one of the greatest stars in the history of pro wrestling.

Simone’s grandfather, Johnson’s “Soul Man” WWE Hall of Famer Rocky, was one of the first two African American World Tag Team Champions in the history of the WWE. He had died at the age of 75 in January.

This dynasty of skilled fighters began with the great-grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia.
